Nānākuli, Hawaiʻi – Representative Darius K. Kila (D-44, Honokai Hale, Nānākuli, Mā‘ili) issued the following statement today:
“The recent incident on Nānākuli Avenue, where an aggressor damaged a kūpuna’s vehicle and caused harm, is deeply troubling, unacceptable, and I denounce the actions that took place. These types of actions are a distraction from the values that our community holds dear. Our kūpuna are the very center of our lives and the pillars of our communities, and we need to work together to ensure their safety and well-being.”
