COMMITTEES OF THE 2023-2024 HAWAI'I HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
The Hawaiʻi House of Representatives has 18 standing committees, which are established to consider and report on all bills, petitions, resolutions, budgets, and any other matters referred. The membership and designation of the chair and vice-chair is appointed by the Speaker of the House. Meetings of standing committees are made public, and notice is posted or announced on the House floor at least 48 hours prior to the meeting (except for notices posted by the Committee on Finance, notice shall be posted before 4:30 p.m. on the last day of the work week for a hearing to be held on the following Monday or Tuesday. Meetings take place at the Hawaiʻi State Capitol.
