Māʻili, Hawaiʻi – Representative Darius K. Kila (D-44, Honokai Hale, Nānākuli, Mā‘ili) issued the following statement today:
“The senseless tragedy that unfolded on Saturday evening has left us in disbelief and it is heartbreaking that this incident has taken place in our community. As we await further updates from the authorities, we strongly encourage anyone with information on this crime to come forward. May we also uplift the young woman and her family in prayer during this difficult time.”
