HOUSE PASSES BILLS RELATING TO CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM

Honolulu, Hawaiʻi –The House of Representatives passed campaign finance reform measures out for third reading today.

Measures that Passed Third Reading:

H.B. No. 89 – Relating to Campaign Contributions by Candidate Committees

H.B. No. 90 – Relating to Committee Fundraisers

H.B. No 93 – Relating to Organizational Reports

H.B. No 99 – Relating to Limiting a Campaign's Acceptance of Cash Contributions

These measures all follow the recommendations made by the Commission to Improve Standards of Conduct.

The House bills now cross over to the State Senate for consideration.
