Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – The House Committee on Education will hold its first informational briefing of the year to receive updates on safety-related impacts from the Department of Education (DOE) and the Hawaiʻi State Public Charter School Commission. Topics will include active shooter protocol and COVID-19 updates.
"One of two DOE priorities is keeping our keiki safe, and now is a salient time to have that discussion," said House Committee on Education Chair Justin H. Woodson.
