Speaker Saiki created a State Auditor Working Group in January 2021. The following individuals were appointed to serve on the working group:

Colleen Hanabusa
Wesley Machida
The working group was asked to determine whether the Office of the State Auditor is in compliance with Article VII, section 10 of the Hawaiʻi Constitution. The working group was asked to submit its report to the House on or before April 1, 2021.
