RELIEF PROGRAMS
Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program
This program was developed by the Legislature to use $635 million in federal CARES Act funds to provide ongoing, immediate relief to residents suffering from the devastating economic shut down cased by the coronavirus pandemic.
$75 million of the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) will be used to support unemployed residents while stimulating the local economy by driving business to dine-in and take-out restaurant and fast-food establishments.
COVID-19 PPE Distribution Program
Free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available for small businesses, child care and elder care providers, and non-profits to order through the State of Hawaiʻi’s COVID-10 PPE Distribution Program. This program was funded by the Legislature to assist qualified organizations with their operations by working to maintain the health and safety of employees and the public.
