HOUSE BILLS UP FOR FINAL READING

Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – On Friday, the House of Representatives will consider twenty-five additional House bills for final reading, including measures relating to employee wages, commercial licenses, and tax administrative procedures.

 

A final vote is scheduled for Friday, April 19 at 11:30 a.m. on the House Floor during the Floor Session. Upon approval, the bills proceed to the governor's desk for his signature.

 

The measures include:

·         HB 1529 HD2 SD2 - Relating to Burial Councils

·         HB 1554 HD1 SDI - Relating to Aquatic Resources

·         HB 1889 HD1 SD2 - Relating to Workers’ Compensation Medical Benefits

·         HB 1923 HD1 SD2 - Relating to Camps

·         HB 1936 HD2 SD2 - Relating to Harbor Safety

·         HB 2337 HD1 SD2 - Relating to Pesticides

·         HB 2343 HD1 SD1 - Relating to Enforcement of Orders of Wage Payment

·         HB 2395 HD1 SD2 - Relating to the Hawaii National Guard

·         HB 2396 HD1 SD2 - Relating to the Hawaii National Guard

·         HB 2400 HD2 SD2 - Relating to Education

·         HB 2426 HD2 SD2 - Relating to Relative Resource Caregivers

·         HB 2463 HD2 SD2 - Relating to the Wage and Hour Law

·         HB 2485 HD1 SD2 - Relating to the State Tax Administration

·         HB 2486 HD1 SD1 - Relating to Tax Enforcement

·         HB 2488 HD1 SD1 - Relating to the Taxation Board of Review

·         HB 2489 HD1 SD2 - Relating to Tax Administration

·         HB 2491 HD2 SD1 - Relating to Commercial Driver’s Licenses

·         HB 2492 HD2 SD1 - Relating to Commercial Driver’s Licenses

·         HB 2493 HD2 SD1 - Relating to Commercial Driver’s Licenses

·         HB 2577 HD1 SD1 - Relating to Education

·         HB 2626 HD1 SD1 - Relating to Fishponds

·        HB 2657 HD1 SD1 - Relating to Abusive Litigation

 

For measures that have not reached an agreement, the House and Senate have the option to convene in Conference to reconcile discrepancies and craft the final language of the bills.
