STATEMENT OF SPEAKER SCOTT K. SAIKI REGARDING TOKIOKA AND YAMANE APPOINTMENTS

(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) – Speaker Scott K. Saiki released the following statement regarding Governor Josh Green, M.D.'s appointments of Representative James Kunane Tokioka (D-16) to serve as Deputy of the Department of Transportation – Airports Division, and Representative Ryan Yamane (D-37) to serve as Deputy of the Department of Human Resources Development.

"Representatives James Kunane Tokioka and Ryan Yamane both have accomplished records of public service in the House. We look forward to working with them in the Administration and wish them much success in their new roles."
